Maarten holds an MBA from Webster University and a B.HA from Hotelschool The Hague. Instead of starting a career, he decided to follow his dreams and sail the world’s oceans. After four years of sailing, he changed his life at sea to a commercial career on shore.

He is VP of international business for one of Europes largest B2B e-commerce companies. Being educated and formed in the hospitality industry, he still strives to focus on customer experience, service and human connections. Maarten writes and talks about following your dreams and aims to inspire people to actively choose the course of their lives.
